Order Information and Availability
If you place an order with us before 2pm Monday to Friday, we will endeavour to dispatch it the same day. If you order at any other time, we will make every effort to despatch it on the next working day. All items are sent recorded signed for or International Airsure with tracking and insurance.
If for any reason your item(s) are going to be delayed or are temporarily out of stock we will keep you informed of the situation by email and or telephone.
Pricing
We endeavour to ensure descriptions and prices are always accurate and up to date. In the unlikely event of an error, the following policies apply:
1. Actual price lower than that shown on site - we will charge the correct LOWER amount and notify you of the change via email at the time of despatch.
2. Actual price higher than that shown on site - item will not be despatched, we will contact you via email to discuss whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any VAT charges as applicable. Delivery charges are extra.
Ownership
This site is owned and operated by The House on the Hill Toy Museum, situated at the address as given in our contact page and in our footer.
All images, designs, logos and graphics used on the site are woned by the above or used with the permission of the owners. Material may not be copied or reproduced without prior written permission from the site owner.
Items Not Available / Withdrawn
If an item is no longer available we will contact you and provide the following options:
1. Wait until the item comes back into stock.
2. Cancel the order and provide a full refund.
We reserver the right to withdraw items from the webn website at any time without prior notice.
Children
This website does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18 years of age you may use this site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. It should be noted that we sell collectable items not intended as toys for children
Grading System
Included in each description should be a grading for the item overall. It is not possible in all cases to list every imperfection or list missing items and we cannot be held responsible for missing items not listed in the text if the grading is appropriate. It is therefore important to take note of the grading explanation when ordering. On occasion the item will be described as mint within a different grading of packaging.
MINT - Item in perfect condition.
NEAR MINT - Almost perfect condition, any imperfections will be extremely minor.
EXCELLENT - Item may have had very careful use or has small imperfections, may not be complete.
VERY GOOD - Some imperfections, may not be complete.
GOOD - Items will have had some use, will show obvious faults and may not be complete.
FAIR - Heavy signs of wear, will show obvious imperfections, possibly restored or repainted.
POOR - Distressed with may faults.
(+) PLUS - A(+) PLUS rating indicates the items is slightly better than the class implies.
Postage
For Standard UK Mainland delivery, goods will usually arrive with 3/4 working days. However, this could extend to up to seven working days during particulary busy periods; addresseses in the Outer Hebridges may take a day or two longer. Standard Royal Mail is the default delivery charge.
Items Not Available / Withdrawn
All our items will be sent insured and with tracking enabling you to follow the progress of your parcel.

Occasionally items may be lost or damaged during transit. Please refer to the help sectionj for guidance and rates. We cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to comply due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
Refund Guarantee
We hope you are completely satisfied with our purchase. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your item or the piece does not reflect your order we will happily provide you with a refund.
Refunds will be granted if the following conditions are met:
1. You must contact us by email or telephone within seven working days of the order and PRIOR to sending the itme back.
2. Returns are reveived within 28 days from the point of order in the condition they were originally sent.
3. Items are recieved complete and orginal, as ordered condition and invluce all relevant certificates and boxes.
4. Return has been authorised by a Toy Museum employee.

Damaged/Missing Items
Notification of goods damaged in transit or times not received after seven working days, please email our customer service department at: info@stanstedtoymuseum.com or by telephone on 01279 813237 (+44 1289 813237 International).
Payment
We can offer you a variety of methods of payment including:
1. Credit/Debit card by telephone on 01279 813237 (Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro)
2. UK cheque / postal order / bank transfer (Please contact us to arrange this, in these circumstances goods will not be despatched for 8 working days to allow the cheque to clear).
4. Cash on Collection.
Goods remain the property of Stansted Toy Museum until paid for in full. If your issuing bank declines your credit card or cheque payment, we will treat the order as cancelled. If items have been dispatched we will require you to contact our customer services to arrange an alternative method of payment or reutrn the goods to us immediately. We reserver the rgiht to mamke a 10% fee to cover administration and restocking if applicable.
